HOW WE MET

Fred and Breannah first crossed paths at the College of Charleston, but it wasn't until nearly a decade later that sparks flew. While Breannah was living in Japan, she stalked Fred's #FourBarFriday Instagram videos. Their digital connection soon blossomed into something real.

THE SOFT LAUNCH

Our first date was a two-part adventure that felt like something out of a dream. The first part was a virtual FaceTime session where Breannah enjoyed a burger by the waterside in Japan while Fred relaxed in his backyard. It was like Shawn Mendes sang, "I’m a couple hundred miles from Japan... and I can't get you off my mind." When Breannah visited the States, our connection only grew stronger. We strolled the College of Charleston campus, marking the start of our own CofC love story that felt supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. We topped our date off with a #Plankversation by the pond, and have been lost in each others paradise since.

THE HARD LAUNCH

Fred’s graduation from the Citadel with his Master’s Degree was a momentous occasion, or so Breannah thought. Unbeknownst to her, Fred had a special surprise planned. He gathered family and friends under the guise of celebrating his academic achievement, but the real celebration was their love. As Fred revealed the ring from beneath his gown, Breannah's tears and nods spoke volumes. They then celebrated their engagement at the College of Charleston Alumni Weekend A Charleston Affair, marking the beginning of their next chapter. Now begins the #CountdowntoQUICK.

Meet the Bride

Breannah, a Behavior Analyst, is as compassionate as she is determined. A College of Charleston alumna, she’s always had a heart for making a difference. Breannah’s love for family, friends, and fun aligns perfectly with Fred’s values, and it was these shared principles that brought them together. Whether she's working with children or planning exciting adventures, Breannah is all about embracing life to the fullest. Her relationship with Fred grew stronger despite the miles between them, thanks to their shared commitment to each other.

Meet the Groom

Fred, a graduate of The Citadel and the College of Charleston, with a desire to make a meaningful impact. His career in higher education recruitment reflects commitment to helping others discover their potential and pursue their dreams. Outside of work, Fred loves movement and adventure, and his journey with Breannah has been one of growth and joy, starting when they connected while she was in Japan. He proposed at his Citadel graduation, marking the start of a lifelong partnership with the woman who inspires him every day.

Together, Fred and Breannah form "Bre-J," a partnership that radiates positivity and energy wherever they go. Their love story, which began across continents, is a testament to their shared sense of adventure and unwavering commitment to one another. They aren’t just partners in life—they are a team that lifts each other up, creating an atmosphere of joy, inspiration, and warmth for everyone around them.
